  1. I am thinking of the Bronze Medal Olympic game 2021 from the point of view of Patty Mills, the star player.

The game finally started. We won the tipoff, and I received the ball. The game stayed close for the first few minutes, with no amazing plays occurring. We were up by 7, while everyone on the Boomers were making some shots. End of the first quarter. We were still up by 7 points, with their young star, Luka Doncic, making nearly all his shots. In the second quarter, I started to catch fire from the 3pt line. But, they started to cut the lead. We only had a lead of 1 point, even though I was still making every shot. We maintained the lead for a couple minutes, but we pulled ahead by 5. I had 15 points with 4 minutes left in the 1st half. It was basically a 1v1 with me and Luka going back and forth. At the end of the half, we had an 8 point lead while I had 20 points. We walked back to the locker room, thinking we had an easy bronze medal. The second half started, and they had the ball. We went up by 12 scoring 2 easy buckets within the first minute. They slowly cut the lead to 4 while we kept missing our shots. No one scored for 3 minutes until we started to catch fire. We kept making threes and went up by 15 points! There were 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. I was subbed off for the remaining minutes, with Matisse carrying until the end of the 3rd quarter. We were up by 15, and I had 30 points. I was on for the rest of the 4th quarter, while the opponent (Slovenia) played bad. We won the game by 14 and I finished with 42 points (career high). Everyone on the team was extremely excited and we celebrated on the court for our first medal ever!

2. I am thinking of the Bronze Medal Olympic game 2021 from the point of view of Matisse Thybulle (Patty Mills teammate)

We were ready. For the 5th time on a row, we were in the bronze medal game. The game started, and we won the tipoff. Though this was my first Olympics, I wanted to win. The game started off pretty close, with patty hitting a couple threes. I wasn't playing well, but I had a couple dunks. We were up by 7 points by the end of the 1st quarter, with both teams playing decent. In the second quarter, Patty was on fire scoring 12 points. He was throwing lobs to me while I slammed it down. They cut the lead down to 1 point at one point, but we regained the lead going back up by 8. We maintained the lead for the rest of the half. When the 2nd half started, we quickly scored a couple easy shots going up by 12. Both teams had a shooting slump for a wide span of 3 minutes. After that, it was back and forth. Luka Doncic (Slovenia) and Patty Mills were carrying their teams scoring nearly every possession. Slovenia stopped scoring so we took our chance. We went up by 15 points at the end of the 3rd quarter while Patty Mills had 30 points. It would take a miracle for Slovenia to come back from this far. Not much happened this quarter except Patty hitting 3 three pointers and a couple easy shots. He had 42 at the end of the game while I had a sloid stat line of 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. We won by 14 points and celebrated on the court!

"Go Patty"! We all yelled through the TV screen. Though he had been in this situation before, he was at his best now. The Boomers have been playing amazing, and this was one of their final chances to win a medal. We were extremely excited for this moment while the whistle blew. The game had begun. The Boomers started off well staying up by around 5 points throughout the quarter. Patty was playing great as usual, and the Boomers finished the quarter up by 7 points. In the second quarter, Patty played even better, making some phenomenal passes and making some contested threes. They opponent came back at one point, but the Boomers regained it going up by 8 points at the half. The boomers instantly scored a couple buckets and went up by 12. After that, both of the teams missed every shot for 3 minutes. After that, Patty and another player from Slovenia went back and forth. They didn't miss a shot. They kept scoring until Slovenia started missing. Patty took his chance and the Boomers went up by 15 points at the end of the 3rd quarter. Patty was playing phenomenal, as we cheered for him through the screen. In the 4th quarter, the Boomers kept their scoring streak, and maintained their lead for the whole quarter. They won the game by 14 points, and Patty ha 42 points! We were so happy to see all the smiles on the faces and we were excited to see Patty played amazing.
